Sometimes, dumbness, dysphagia, shock, perforation of digestive tract and delayed gastrointestinal stricture may occur. Sodium hydroxide is alkaline and can pollute water. Pay attention to plants and aquatic organisms. In industry, caustic soda is usually called caustic soda.
